Granemore lies off the main road network, 10.5 km south of Armagh and 9.4 km south-west Markethill.
It is designated today as a hamlet. (Armagh Area Plan 2004: Armagh District Council Area).
St Mary's Church (RC) and St Mary's Primary School are in Granemore.
