The townland of Clady Beg is in the parish of Kilclooney in Armagh County. It is labelled number 8 on the map.
The 1826 Schools Commission report describes the school in the townland:
"Tullywill, Cladybeg - A pay school under the care of John McCormick, of the Roman Catholic denomination, who was in receipt of 11l per annum. The school was being held in a thatched cabin but a new school house had been constructed. The school educated 40 scholars."
