THE TOWNLAND OF TEEMORE

Condition: substantial remains
The site was formerly a place of pilgramage. The spring has a dry-stone surround and an overhanging thorn tree on which offerings of rags etc were hung. The water flows off powerfully as a small stream towards a modern pumphouse.
